Assistant Media Producer

Atlus is looking for an Assistant Media Producer to join our team! We are looking for a talented, self-sufficient and responsible person to manage the creation of all video content necessary to meet the needs of the Marketing, Sales and Production Departments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited too:

  • Create video game trailers and gameplay videos, incorporating gameplay video and/or pre-existing video, art elements, music, marketing text, and end slates.
  • Coordinate with Production Department to take gameplay footage
  • Cut and mix music as necessary
  • Take all videos through the necessary approval processes (internal staff, developer, 1st party, and ESRB)
  • Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced office environment and be accountable for ensuring deliverables are received in a timely fashion
  • Provide, maintain, and distribute files in various formats to internal and external contacts
  • Demonstrate excellent organization, communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and act as a resource for video-related issues
  • Manage the contracting and production of outsourced work as needed
  • Research new technologies and methods to improve video quality
  • Produce and edit promotional spots as necessary

    Minimum Qualifications include:

  • Minimum 1 year professional video editing experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (including, but not limited to Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop for PC)
  • High level of creativity
  • Basic understanding of animation
  • Understanding of traditional 2-D art design
  • Understanding of sound and music as it relates to video
  • Understanding of video formats
  • Excellent office communication skills and manner

    Game Tester/ Quality Assurance

    Atlus U.S.A., Inc. is looking for Game Testers to work on an upcoming console title. Testers will be responsible for playing through the game and reporting bugs accurately and clearly. Since the majority of the bugs will be text-related, individuals with a strong command of the English language are preferred. The ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented and a team player with good communication skills.

    Requirements

  • LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY (We are located in the Irvine, CA. Applicants outside of the Orange County area will not be considered.)
  • Previous software testing experience preferred, console gaming experience required.
  • 18 years or older only.
  • Strong reading, writing, and spelling skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Passion for games, positive attitude, attention to detail.
  • Hours are 9:00-5:30 M-F plus paid overtime.
  • This is a temporary position lasting the duration of the project (approximately 4-8 weeks).

    Requirements

    Assistant Editor

    Atlus USA, Inc. is looking for an assistant editor to work on an upcoming video game title. This individual will be responsible for rewording and proofreading Japanese-to-English translations of game dialogue, manuals, character descriptions, etc. Working closely with other team members will be required. This is a temporary position lasting the duration of the project. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
