Persona 3 Protagonist - Will Elizabeth Or Anyone Ever Save His Soul
I've played the game one time through and I can't help but feel a little sad that the protagonist dies in the end. He saves the world and then gets kind of ripped off since he only live to his graduation day. And since I've played persona 4 and Elizabeth mentioned the reason why her sister left. I can't help but want the next installment of the game to leave something that will help realease him from his prison.
But hey its just a thought thats been nagging me for a bit. I'm a sucker for a happy ending.

You mixed up Margaret and Elizabeth. Elizabeth is the one who left the Velvet Room to go save his soul.
I have a funny feeling that replacing P3 MC with FeMC might be her way of doing it...

Probably not.
From what I've heard, the male and female protags are actually twins (guess the fanwank wasn't off-base, after all) and when the player chooses one, the other dies in the accident that killed the parents. If that was Elizabeth's doing, she failed her objective, big time.
Incidentally, one of the criticisms from the Famitsu review was that the female storyline didn't deviate significantly from the male's, leading to the same end... it's really only the Social Links that are different.
Also, in regards to P3's ending, while it certainly has its tearjerker qualities, it was far from a tragedy. After all, the protagonist succeeded, managing to indefinitely stall the self-destruction of mankind at only the cost of himself. Not only that, but he managed to keep his promise and see his friends to Graduation, even though he could've just as easily dropped dead upon casting the Great Seal.

Still when Margret's statement about her sister going off to find away to release the blue haired boy. I can only think that maybe the next installment of the game will direct the plot in a minor/ big way to include Elizabeths quest. And your right it wasn't tragedy but you let on MC die and the other live just seem wrong to me. I mean its great story telling don't get me wrong but if P4 MC ending is like a way to make up for it. I still I can't help but feel bad that the pro for P3 dies and we get no way of rescuing him. To me its a total rip off. And FES ticked me off even more with Aegis leaving him there. Even though I understand why.

I think MC coming back alive in a later game would kill the emotional impact that the end of The Journey had. It would seem cheap if anything.
They're better of leaving it as it is. Don't fix what isn't broken.

I'm with Eggn0g, actually-- I thought that was the perfect end to the game. There really couldn't have been any other.

Yeah, I know. It would totally ruin the impact of his sacrifice if they brought him back.
Whenever someone suggests that he should be brought back for P5 I die a little inside.

This.
Would you watch a movie called "Hamlet 2", wherein everyone miraculously sprung back to life and had a new adventure?

When Minato dies I was like... 'Dang, why couldn't that've been Fuuka?' lol jk I like Fuuka but her voice is annoying. It's like
Minato: Per...So...Na [BAM]
Yukari: Wait... that's the wrong evoker!
Minato: Uahhh!
Random Fuuka: No! It can't end like this!
Yukari: What the hell was that!?
{LOOKS AT SCRIPT}
Fuuka: Oh sorry... back in a coupls months! rotfl

I don't know who you are talking to (maybe Minato Hikari?)
but what I quoted above is seemingly impossible (okay not that impossible but too hard even for the SEES.) unless for someone powerful enough to defeat Erebus once a year like Elizabeth.

that's the challenge for atlus
just think this persona 3 storyline is really unique
1. you don't know what are you fighting for at the begining
2. the MC doesn't really has a character
3. the grinding was boring but you still love it
4. you know what are you fighting for at the end and at the same time you die

If you think about it a small part of his character shows through many times. He's quiet, calm, only speaks when spoken to, cares about his friends like all other protagonists, and he ends up being the most selfless guy in the world, giving up his soul so everybody can live. These traits, although simple, make up a portion of who Minato is. The same goes for Minako from P3P. She's extremely friendly, bright, interjects in to conversations when she feels she needs to, and just as much of a hero as Minato. See...they've got character,(you can tell from their dialogue choices) you just need to look for it.

I think the end is awesome. It would lack a whole lot of its power and meaning if it weren't sad, and honestly it's hard not to see it coming. He had death living inside of him for like ten years.

I dont think reviving him would affect the ending of P3 at all, pretty much like ehat happens in P2 EP ending wich is better than IS ending but still the ending of IS is still strong.
we are not asking to change the ending just the aftermath.

I'm fairly certain they said Minato died (they weren't sure why though). In that case they would have either have buried his body or cremated it (not familiar with Japanese burials). Either way, I doubt they would have kept it around.
I think that by saving him, as I hope she does, Margret would just be freeing him from being the seal and let his soul move on. I doubt even she could bring him back to life (noth without a body at any rate).
Then again, he could always reincarnate. Sure he would be younger than the other SEES members and perhaps wouldn't even remember them, but if Margret told them about him I think they would be happy to know he got a second chance at life and maybe even have the loving family he lost in his previous life.

I think this is where (P4A spoilers) what the Malevolent Entity said comes into play, about how he's looking for the one true vessel. I think that will be Minato's body since his body is a unique "vessel" because of how it was home to both his soul and Death. It would also fit the Malevolent Entity's M.O. of trying to force Personas back into shadows by forcing friends to fight each other (though if that happens I think there would be more to the ME's plan than just that).
If his body is brought back by the Malevolent Entity, I think Minato coming back to life is feasible.

So they would either create him a new body or dig up his old rotting one (if he was buried)?
