This is the first time I've actually had online access for my PS3 and there's been one of these events, so naturally I'm very excited. However, when I went to go into 1-1 to see the gate to the execution grounds open, it still was shut. Does anyone know why this might be?

i definitely third the neutral thingy
but i've been destroying every enemy for a while now and the pbwt event
will be a refreshing change and a chance to max out my white bow and other colorless upgrade weapons
i know i know i could have done it anytime but i didn't so

Ah, Demon's Souls...the only reason I bought a PS3 in the first place. Wow a year has already passed time flies when your having fun! Happy Birthday DS!!!

Words cannot describe how much I love this game. I remember seeing previews for it and I just kinda blew it off as a TESIV:Oblivion clone or something. When I got my copy home I just couldn't stop playing, I was SO addicted! Then the first black phantom invasion.. realizing I could see ghosts of other people playing, watch how some people died w/ the bloodstain thing.. I was just blown away. I always appreciated Atlus before this game but now I bow to you. I'll never be able to thank you guys enough for publishing this FROM Software masterpiece in the states so we could enjoy it. THANK YOU! And happy BDay Demon's Souls!!

Happy Birthday Demon's Souls!! As a new fan, I can't express just how thankful I am that Atlus published a game like this. It's been ages since I played a game as challenging and as engrossing as this one. A true gem on the PS3 and a must-have title.
