Yea, in the original while insanely hard to get, you can even tame a few of the higher lv monsters like Lamp Demon, and Killer Machine 2, not to mention old favorites like Wyverns, Lesser Demons, and such.
PS. I'm not 100% sure, but did they remove the Bonus Dungeon as well, yikes(located in Dharma Temple in the original)?

This isn't the SNES version. It's a remake that doesn't feature monster taming for fairly obvious reasons.

There is notbhing obvious about it, Square didn't want time spent on them, if it Isn't graphics, they rarely put effort into something(in their eye, quality doesn't matter, getting the game out the door, as fast as possible, is what matters to them).
Remakes should not have content removed(I suspect they removed the bonus dungeon as well, if so, between the tameable monsters they removed, and the Bonus Dungeon, if removed, is like 80% of the replay value down the drain), the idea of a remake, is either keep it exactly the same, as It's being remade/ported, so more gamers get to play it or to improve gameplay even more, which this so called remake does neither.

Isn't nonsensical Square bashing just a little clinched? It was a tacked on feature with an extremely limited selection of monsters, with the only decent ones recruitable in the very endgame. The bonus dungeon is in this game, so get your facts straight, and ports and remakes aren't the same thing. If you want to play the SNES game, then play the SNES game!

And if you want to ream SE games, start your own thread, and see how far that gets you. This is pretty off topic.
Sheesh. I come in to bask in the glory of Radiant Historia compliments, and I get DQVI bashing. What the heck.

Sorry about that, I just couldn't stand someone comparing the DQ6 remake, to an awesome game like RH.
Ok, back on topic, Radiant Historia is an awesome game, I'm so happy ATLUS decided to bring it over, I love ATLUS so much

As I stated earlier, you guys really picked up a gem here. I really hope your internal sales numbers for the game are good, or at the very least acceptable for a non MegaTen/Megami Ibunroku game.
The original developers really captured something here. I hope a sequel is in the works.
