Endings? (spoilers)

I posted this over on GameFAQs, but I'd also like to put this here in case I get a clearer/quicker answer.

I've just finished the huge event in which Nihilo attacks the Mantra HQ. I'm curious about endings, though.

I know for the Neutral ending I need to say yes to all questions in Yoyogi Park. I know for the other endings, save the True Demon one, depend on my actions in different areas before the final dungeon. I also know for the True Demon ending that I must complete the Labyrinth of Amala.


However, which flags override which? Can I answer yes to the questions in Yoyogi Park but go activate another Reason and get a different ending? I know the True Demon ending overrides all endings.

Also, how short are these areas that allow me to choose the ending? Do I go in and see a short event before the last dungeon...? I'd like to save just before Yoyogi Park so I can see all the different endings, but I'm unsure of how much more gameplay that would take.

Reason endings should override neutral, IIRC, so yes, you can answer yes in Yoyogi and still go get another ending as far as I recall.

There are still a few substantial dungeons ahead of you, though, so while you'll save a lot of game time by keeping a save to return to, you'll still have to sink some good hours into it to get every ending.

Is it possible to turn off the "flags" for the differing Reasons? I'm guessing no :/

Nope. If you hit the big flag for more than one Reason, the game will just give you whichever one your minor choices have racked you up the most points with (unless you go TDE, which overrides everything else).

Okay, I understand. Looks like I'll have to replay some of the big dungeons a few times to see more than just Neutral and True Demon, or watch 'em on YouTube. Thanks!
