Cursed Crusade
This one sounds interesting...Atlus one of the primaries on it. Combat looks really good...little bit of an Assassin's Creed 2 look to it. Anybody else watching this one?

I have an eye on it. Personally my biggest turn off with Creed is just that, the combat sucks. It is like a glorified verson of rock paper scissors. Which is the same reason I did not like the Witcher which I feel is a massively overrated game. My only concern is the whole cursed aspect, I don't want it to go too loony with the story.

You guys do know we have a sub-forum called "The Cursed Crusade Right", right? I'm moving this there.
That said, I'm curious what your definition of "loony" is, or at least, what you meant by that comment?

I read the article in GameInformer and that's how I learned of it. The story definately sounds interesting, but that may be because I like anything that shows organized religion in a bad light.

I watched the trailer; the action was catchy, graphics good even if the skins are like AC2 the combat looks similar to DS...the way they move looks like they are cut into seperate animations for each weapon move...im hopin' anyways.

This game really does look excellent. I didn't like Assassin's Creed, but this looks more along the lines of something that I'd enjoy.

Looks wicked!!!
Is this going to be a Demon's Souls style game? If so I'll be all over it.

Alot of the Demon's Souls forum users only visit the Demon's Souls forums though Red, hence the reason they probably put it there...

nope. AC was more like a version of rock-paper-scissors if scisors ate paper AND rock. the combat in AC2 (unlike AC1, if u ask me) was a shallow piece of garbage. block was essentially "invulnerability mode", countering became easier, ezio has too much life, too much potions, enemies no longer dodge\counter\power attack the player (each enemy type does one of those things, so it's way more predictable), no more defense breaks, no more power-attacks... blah. it was way WAY better in AC1, even without all the glorified new weapons and moves.
AC2, overall, was a game meant for casual gamers. it was really easy and way to much noob friendly. no skill needed anywhere.

If you're playing the game already, it's the Euro version. In which case, you can seek support from dtp.

Issues
Hey, I was trying to play this game online with my brother in the same house on PC(split screen had some slowdown and we wanted our own screens) but the online basically doesn't work. It lags for him badly and disconnects him if he gets too far away or starts the parry quick time event. I've tried DMZ'ing my computer to force all the ports open, tried using a private and public match but the online so far is completely unplayable.
Am I missing something or?....
