what are the odds...

the game consistently freezes at the exact same spot every time i try to load chapter 4, mission 2, the game will get stuck on the loading screen...

never had a problem on any other section of the game, and none of my other games freeze.

i clear the cache on my 360 hard drive religiously.

originally, i had installed my game directly to the HD. i also tried just loading it from the disk, same results.

any chance this could be fixed with a patch? how should i proceed?

was having a ball with this game until this happened. sucks because its my 1st playthrough, otherwise i would just skip past it, but thats not an option sadly, because the rest of the game is still locked.


edit= ok, i swapped the game for a new one, and its doing the same thing. so now the only thing it can be is a bad save file, or my 360 hates this game for some reason. or it could be a problem w/ the type of hard drive i have (60 GB) IDK at this point.

i started a new game. what else can i do? anyone else experiencing problems???

any chance we can get a patch, or can you please test the game on older xboxes, just to see if you come up with similar results? maybe the older models will need a patch or something.

besides, the game could use a patch for other issues like weapons disappearing after bad guys drop them, etc.

please help me out. i want to love this game again, really i do.
