This sounds intriguing. I haven't seen much music that was sort of tribute "fan art" style music. A lot of the projects were either just people remixing the songs or re-recording them themselves. I'd love to see what you guys come up with.

Oh man, I love this.
The number one track I would love to see on it is...I'm failing to remember the exact name. "A Land (something about roads)"? The music from Eridanus Sector in Strange Journey. It's a gorgeous piece and I think it'd make the transition easily.
My other favorite is the music from when you fight one of the Reason bosses in Nocturne.
Sadly I can't listen to the sample you have up right now, because other people in the room have the TV up too loud. I'll get back to that later.

Oh yes, Eridanus Sector's music is really good! That's a great idea, it would serve as a very somber interlude. (A Land Controlling Roads is the title).
Reason music is kickass, for sure. I'm not sure how well it would translate because for some of it, as it opens with a bass and drum opening. But when it kicks into high gear, it's really awesome.
Also, I would love to include music from IMAGINE, but I don't know any good tracks.

Best of luck to you.
Sadly, i have not played any SMT games aside from the Persona series. The poem for everyone's souls may be overdone but it's also a pretty good tune and may be your best bet for SMT Piano music.
Kimi No Kioku may not be as great without the other instruments but if you can make it work i'd definitely be interested.

^Thanks! I think I will end up doing Poem for Everyone's Souls. It's called Aria of the Soul in Persona 3, so I might do something neat like convert it into a Fugue of The Soul.
I have updated the main post to include the first completed track!
Strange Journey - Fear of God (normal battle music)
Listen here!
Download or listen here!

Hear the original here!
It's a short one, but it's difficult for sure!
I have also truncated the original post so it can serve as a hub.
Enjoy!
Next up: Reach Out To The Truth from Persona 4

Ooooh, nostalgic. I have a craving to play Strange Journey for the third time now. Maybe I'll try to play your arrangement myself one day, when I have time.

Great news someone is making a Meguro piano collection. The first arrangement sounds very promising, so I'm looking forward to the rest of the tracks. I'll also give the sheet music a shot - have searched for a transcription or even arrangement for quite some time.
I started on a Mitsuda piano collection a few years ago, but haven't been able to finish it. Yet.

VERY nice work. I'm sure Meguro would approve.

If you can gussy up "Boss Appearance" from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne to be just as menacing in piano, that'd be pretty damn awesome.
Though it's not Meguro (and therefore probably ineligible), the Daedalus tower theme from the original Megami Tensei would be a really awesome melody.

Joined the forums just to tell you that this is the most awesome tribute to Shin Megami Tensei that I've ever seen. As a huge fan of the series, I just wanted to say thank you so very, very much.

Ha, this should be fun to learn. I'm doing a prelude and fugue this year and it's...interesting, to say the least. Looking forward to it!

I have updated the main post to include the fourth completed track!
Persona series - Aria of the Soul (Etude version!) (Velvet Room theme music)
Listen here!
Download or listen here!

Hear the original here!
Also...
BONUS HARPSICHORD VERSION!!!
Persona series - Aria of the Soul (HARPSICHORD version!)
Listen here!
Download or listen here!
Because you need more harpsichord in your life. It's a scientific fact.
(I know I originally said fugue, but the source material didn't lend itself well to it. A 'classically inspired etude' fit the original music much better).
Enjoy!
Next up: Nocturne – World Map ~Last Area (Chill version)

I kind of want to marry you for the The Fear of God arrangement. I think it could be played a BIT more losely/intensely (though the climax was very well done!), but overall it's pretty fantastic, and really great of you to release the sheet music for those that want to learn how to play these.
I'm really excited for Nocturne – World Map ~Last Area, that's one of my favourite songs as well. You have my vote for Devil Summoner: Raidou 1 – Shock! The Final Battle (final battle) too.
