Wearing sexy pantsuits and being self-reliant...

So, I found this picture with some comment about how this design has been making the rounds because of some sequel novel supposedly in the works.

Just for the sake of it:
Naoto survives P4 and is, like, totes a woman. *snrk*

According to said rumor, this alleged light novel involves an adult detective Naoto solving a missing-persons case while looking all girly and stuff. If she doesn't meet a Kuzunoha, I'll be disappointed.

Anywho, I thought I'd open up a topic as a place to stick whatever information people discover (including its name!) and impressions, etc.

I never thought of Naoto looking like that XD. Oh well, she looks good though, I wonder if the story'll be good...

And I agree, I want her to meet a Kuzunoha.

Naoto like that...mind = blown. She does look totally badass though. I hope she gets to summon her persona at some point, because I'd love to read about her solving a case dealing with Shadows or possibly demons, and even meeting the current world's Raidou Kuzunoha.

Wait... in which year is that Raidou? In the 2030's more or less? Then XIV... did I get the right roman number?

@ Crok: Believe it or not, it's actually Raidou the 40th! Apparently, they dropped like flies during those Great Destruction years.

The Raidou we're familiar with is the 14th, in 1931, btw.

So she'd be meeting Raidou Kuzunoha the XV or XVI. Possibly the XVII, depending on how long a Kuzunoha remains a detective.

Woah woah woah, whaaa? Is this official? XD I only ask because if it is then it takes place after Arena as well.

Also, why would you want Naoto to meet some movie star? =P

Haha, good one. But that's only in the english version of the game, not the Japanese one. Besides, according to an official fanbook, Raidou the 14th started everything.

Raidou ''Law'': Persona universe.
Raidou ''Neutral'': Shin Megami Tensei universe.
Raidou ''Chaos'': Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne universe.

But oh well, but my point is that Raidou may still exist. But of course, I don't usually trust fan made things =P

@ Kenji: I knew it, I counted right D:<. You know, with that screwing the time frame in the Raidou games... 40th may remember something... you know... like all that crap created a paradox. Of course, that won't affect Naoto but, the villain always finds a way of screwing with the player (or in this case, the reader) ''If I kill a Shirogane... I dunno what will happen, but I'll do it!''....... That's the crap that usually happens... -_-.

I... am kind of iffy on that character design. It seems like a radical change from the Naoto we see in P4.

Yeah, it's one thing for this design to come from several years in the future, but just one? If I let my hair grow out for a whole year, it'd just reach stoner-length, not my waist!

Not even sure it's Naoto's style. Seems to me that she does the short hair 'cuz she likes the short hair, not 'cuz she's passing for a man. The pantsuit, though, I'd totally believe that.

I absolutely love Naoto's redesign. I do have a thing for characters with long hair.

I don't read light novels, but this is one I'd be willing to follow. Hopefully someone translates this.

Naoto must grow her hair REALLY fast in just under a year...

Really like her motorbike though. Her new design is both feminine and still tomboyish, so it's nice that they still kept her traits after Persona 4.

Oh I'm really liking Naoto's redesign. Her hair though is a bit iffy for me. I mean, it's only been a year and her hair grew out that much? I don't know if I like it or not but I really hope there is a translation for this.

The look is interesting though, I can see it happening, in a year though...perhaps she has been eating a lot more veggies.
