How many people still play?

I am currently playing through on a newish character (I made her for a "perfect run" to get a platinum. I've noticed (I play in human form ALWAYS) that I haven't been invaded once and never see blue signs...I only have World 5 Arch Demon, World 3 Arch Demon, and World 1 False King left...

I'm sure I'll see another player at 3-3 but still, kind of shocked that I wasn't invaded in 4-1, I don't get invaded when I go to 1-4, and no blue signs are down.

I know what you mean. Just not much action. I still jump on from time to time though, and I have been summoned, yet never see any signs.

I actually was running 5-2 for Faintstone Chunks and happened to see a blue sign...14,782 online plays...I didn't summon them, but still, VERY cool to see someone who has gotten so much out of such a terrific game!

I thought the server was pretty barren but I tried 1-3 a couple of days ago and was summoned after 7 minutes. Seems to be better than Dark Souls. It takes much longer to find co-op partners on that game.

Dark Souls summons depends on your soul level and time of day (and where you are in the game).

There are some places where you get constant summons.

Also, ever since they fixed the summoning (it used to not work right) no one wants to be summoned by strangers. What I saw a lot was as soon as the other player gets to my world, they send themselves back home...Fortunately I got the Platinum before the patch.

I still love Dark Souls, but the multiplayer sucks so bad...I wish FROM wouldn't have gone with Namco...I also wish that Atlus published it.

I am having problems with the third demon fool's idol i have killed her and I don't know how to get upstairs supposedly there is to be a cut scene when you approach the altar but I don't get a cut scene? any suggestions appreciated. thanks

I've just started on Demon's Souls and I see a fair amount of people in-game. I haven't been invaded yet, but there are plenty of messages lying around, a lot of blood stains, and the occasional blue sign.

I've owned the game for a few years but didn't start playing until now. At first I was disappointed with the character design(I mean, can it get more boring?) but since I had run out of good games to play I finally gave it a chance and I enjoyed playing the thief. It was a lot harder than I expected but that's what's good about it. You actually need to be on your toes in this game. Still, I wouldn't mind a limited save function or save points since it's impossible to go back to an earlier stage as it is now.
