I just hope Atlus doesn't make us wait 5+ years for the next localization of a Growlanser title (Hint, Hint)!

Altough im happy we are getting it, it makes me sad because i will no longer be part of the few english speaker users who have played the JP version (My usefullness will vanish) and it would be difficult to play the game for the sixth time.

What can i say, i love this series the reasons why i have played this one so much times:

First time with fairy type D-LN (Failed to get her ending)
Second with type D-TP (Ending got)
Third time with type D-LM (Failed to get her ending)
All above is the PS2 version
Fourth time with D-MD (Failed to get her ending) psp version
Fifth time with new game plus (Got all characters endings)

I plan to play the PS2 version again when there is a guide for type D-LN and D-LM because i want the endings gallery complete and so i can play Return and get every character ending.

Growlanser 1 i have beaten it 3 times and i plan 2 more to get all Cgs.

Not when you are in debt, im just paying a PC that i needed for my studies and im still have long way to go so saving has been quite difficult.

I earn 200 dollars a month wich believe it or not is enough to live.

I kinda have the money, but I no longer have an international credit card, hence why I had no money up until recently. I don't know how or where I'll get the game, but I'll have my hands on the UMD sometime in August.

There's several that are not linked on the official site and it's also noted which sites accept Paypal.

One of the game stores in Mongkok lets me order games that isn't available in-store. All I have to do is leave a 50 HKD down payment and my number. I get a receipt back and I think it is one of the best ways to import games..

Man, totally looking forward to this game, but dismayed that Atlus has done jack all to bring any attention to it. Their golden child P4A seems to have gotten all of Mommy and Daddy's attention and this son gets ignored outside of a passing banner at the top of Atlus.com.

No doubt about that.. ATLUS is hoping to anger people with the region lock promotion instead of voiceless Growlanser.

Yeah, I don't think any of us seriously expect Atlus to break the bank advertising this game, but they could promote it via the essentially free methods at their disposal (twitter, faithful emails, youtube, facebook, etc.) more. SMT / Persona may be the big kid on the block, but it is for that very reason that I'm willing to be most people who follow @AtlusUSA are already familiar with P4A, while many of them probably know little or nothing about Growlanser... yet 95% of the past month's tweets have been about P4A.

Of course, marketing is very often a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy. Companies promote their better known products and then lo and behold, those popular products sell far better than the unknown. Coca-cola promotes Coke, not Barq's or Mr. Pibb. I'm not saying Atlus shouldn't promote P4A (even though I personally have no interest it and all of the P4A emails go straight in my trash folder), but c'mon Atlus, let the little guy have the spotlight for a week, at least.

Just watched the trailer- it did a pretty good job of piquing my interest. I like the font style; it seems to be the same as Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky.

If WoT turns Atlus a profit then yes, I think there's a chance. Last year I wouldn't have thought IV had a chance.

Even though I is a lilttle weaker in the visual department, it's often said to be tied with IV for the best game in the series and every English speaking Growlanser fan wants it localized... So really if WoT is profitable it would be stupid for Atlus to not bring over I on PSP (unless of course Atlus JP already has plans to port it to the Vita / PS3)...

Grow 1 and WoT are considered games with dated graphics and so both had the same chances, graphics entusiasths has the same chances to play WoT and Grow 1 alike.

The graphics in Growlanser 4 are a lot better than the graphics in Growlanser 1 though. To put it bluntly, Growlanser 1 graphics look like crap. The character sprites are very tiny and simplistic.

It is undeniable that Growlanser I's graphics are not great (it was originally a low-budget PSONe game, after all). However, the gameplay and story is supposed to be just as awesome as IV's so I think all of the current English speaking Growlanser fans (and all the soon to be fans) would still want a localization. Of course, ideally Atlus JP /CareerSoft would do an HD remake of I on the PS3 / Vita, but in an ideal world all Growlanser games would have been localized already.
