I know for sure that some of the extras--commercials or music videos or some such things--are cut due to copyright issues. I can't speak for anything else, though, seeing as I don't work for ATLUS.

OK, thanks for replying. I'd still like to hear from an Atlus staff regarding this matter. Do you have a link to/image of Atlus confirming the cut of commercials/music videos due to copyright issues? It's not that I doubt you (this cut is rather reasonable), I merely have not heard of anyone else or any source claiming such cuts so I am a little sceptical.

It was in an interview--I'll try and track down the link. All they said was that some stuff was cut; I believe the part about commercials was just speculation.

Aram doesn't say specifically what's cut, but we do know some of the bits of extra content are, due to context.

Interesting. By "99.99%" the PR manager could mean "yes, something is cut, and we are subtly sugarcoating that fact" and/or "we need a back door in case we want/have to cut something out" or something else entirely. Alright, thanks again.

i have a question regarding the region lock of P4A

i have a New Zealand PS3, would EU version work on it? or i have to wait for specific NZ/AUS version

Likely because you're asking the wrong company. This one only serves North America. Whoever is publishing the EU or NZ/AUS versions would be the people you need to ask.

If I recall correctly, NZ/AU is considered part of the EU for region purposes. I know they are for distribution rights, so Zen United is the company to be asking. Personally, I don't see why they would, though.

Actually, the question should be. Is ATLUS USA willing to localize a game that DOESN"T have outdated graphics?

BTW, this isn't my opinion I'm playing Devils Advocate and I am pretty sure most graphics junkies are NOT impressed by the graphics of most games Atlus Puts out. The only POSSIBLE Exceptions being Catherine, Demons Souls, and Trine 2.

It'll be an absolute miracle if Persona 4 Arena is released over here before the end of the year. It'll be dead on arrival too. This wouldn't be so much of a problem if the PS3 version wasn't region locked.

I guess my follow-up question is: what do I do to make Atlus (JP or USA) care even just a touch about the EU region in any way?

I'd say unless you have the capital to start up your own EU localisation company and contract with Atlus to handle their upcoming projects for a decent fee, there is really nothing you can do to make the kind of changes you are asking for.

And even then you'd need to get a few games(at least) localized by said start up company to show you have a competant staff that is able to do quality work.

I'd just like whoever made the decision to go with Zen United to be aware it's a bad company (delays aside, they very rarely post anything relevant or professional but stuff like http://goo.gl/OKQhV is sent out pretty much daily) and strongly urge them to go with another company, any other company (seriously, this is Zen's doing too http://kotaku.com/arcana-heart-3%7C-...-fans-edition/), in future.

Starting my own localisation company is a pretty great idea, though. Yo Atlus guys, hit me up and we'll totally get working on an AtlusEU branch.

The Raidou 1 shiny cover art is pretty nice, don't think I've ever seen another Atlus game with that type of cover.
