Hi everyone,
I'm a 20 year old girl gamer and I decided to join the forum after recently buying Radiant Historia.
I have a DS and a PS3. (Also a PS2 which I don't use much anymore).
When it comes to ATLUS games I also own Disgaea DS and Etrian Odyssey I and II. (Although I'm thinking of selling EOII)
My favourite games ever are Dark Cloud and Dark Chronicle, Valkyria Chronicles (hence my username and avatar), Radiant Historia, Dragon Quest VIII and Final Fantasy X. Ni no Kuni will probably join that list soon. (You may be able to tell from those that Level-5 is my favourite game developer).
Most of the games I play are RPGs, I can't get enough of great RPGs, they're just so much fun.
Other games I own are usually platformers, which include a couple of Katamari games and the Sly Cooper games.

I heard quite a bit about Catherine a few months ago, and I am interested to buy it although I have several other games to play on my PS3 first.
I'm on the fence about getting Luminous Arc, and I'm not sure about Rondo of Swords because the reviews were about 6/10 that I saw, can anyone give me thought on these (or any other ATLUS games)?

I hope to have some fun talking to you guys one here. I really wanted to find somewhere to fangirl about Radiant Historia because it's a masterpiece.

Welcome selvaria.

Luminous Arc 1 has the problem that the touch screen is riddle with bugs, when you choose a spot to move the character in the screen the game will move the character to a different spot and apparently people call it a FFT rip off.

Luminous Arc 2 is a good SRPG but it has its fare share of male fanservice so it might not be your cup of tea, i didnt finished it but i advanced a lot so i can recomend it however the Devil Survivor series are better SRPGs supposedly.

Hello. I actually joined a week or two ago? But I figured I should say "hi". I happen to like a lot of Atlus produced games, namely various SMT spinoff games. I first gained interest when a relative bought me Digital Devil Saga. I remember being pretty surprised at the content. woah, you eat people? and omg. is stomach ache actually a status effect in this game? lolol.

I mainly play JRPGs, but I also like SRPGs, some platformers, and a few fighting games.

For favorite franchise... it's hard to say since I like a lot of things. If I absolutely had to pick one franchise, I really do love Tales of games.
