Who wants some Gungnir info?

Just got "Gungnir" on my VITA a couple of days ago and loving it! I have just started to get into SRPG's (Like FF Tactics & Disgaea) and was a little overwhelmed in the beginning with "Gungnir" but now I have a pretty good idea how to play and am having a blast. However, I am confused about Giulio's "Ragnarok" Summon command. I know that it is possible for the Summon to hit your allies as well as the enemies on the stage but every time I try to use the Summon it JUST highlights my allies! So my question is: What do I need to do to make "Ragnarok" hit the enemies? Does my position on the stage in relation to my allies & the enemies affect where "Ragnarok" attacks? Or are there other factors that increase the odds of hitting enemies? Thanks so much guys!

All of the summons including Ragnarok hit a random selection of enemies. If you don't like the selection, pass any amount of time and try again. You can manually pass a small amount of time with a button press (forgot which button).

Also you might want to ask or look for answers on gamefaqs if you want faster replies.
