3D Dot Game Heroes....FOR COMPUTER!
Hello RPG , adventure and me lovers. Im here to talk about something...This gane on the computer. You see this game seems perfect for steam. But since no one is caring about me im gonna give some reasons.
1: the character editor would be great with a computer mousw
2: if its on Steam the game would be really more popular wuch mean more $$$
3: updates will be more easy to release
And last but not least 4: more people who dont own a PS3 would be able to play it and THATS something people would like.
Thanks for reading this i hope you guys will think of it and reply to this

You would have to start pressuring the developer to get a PC release. But it would totally make the Editor much nicer to use, I agree.

nah. Cause on the PC they would then be able to crack the code for the game and modify it to contain all kinds of "adult content". It always happens. ANd.. it's just.. WRONG.

Seriously? modding? thats it? thats easy to make a PC game unmodable and if some super duper hacker can do it...do you really think he would be able to release it and OTHERS can install it?

lol.. no..not seriously.. it was a JOKE. though it would be kool to see the game released on steam (i'd buy it) I doubt it'll happen at this point with the surge in popularity for the game waning. if they were going to do this, I would have expected to see it within a year of the games release.

Please Port Game for PC
I agree with you guys, please port this game to Steam, it would sell like a wildfire. I even wrote a letter to submit to Atlus Games, if anyone can find the right email address to send it to, check it out below:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Atlus Games,
I am writing this email to let you know that one of your games, 3d Dot Game Heroes, has consistently gotten many compliments from friends and family. Many of my friends ask if the game is available via PC, through steam, or available for xbox 360. I tell them that from what I know its only available for PS3. Many of them are very surprised that there are no other ports of this game available. From the response I've witnessed for the game, much of it praise for its unique look and retro rpg gaming style, my guess is that this game still has a large gamer audience out there on different platforms that has yet to be profited from.
My question is when will you port this game to different platforms, especially PC? Is this a possibility? Are there any sequels planned? As an older gamer who harkens back to the retro rpgs of the 80s, I feel like you really have something special with this game, a formula and gaming style that many gamers, both young and old can idenity with. No other game in my collection gets this special kind of response that 3d Dot Game Heroes generates.
I sincerely hope you consider to port this game and hopefully make a sequel or series of games in its style.
Best Regards from an Atlus Fan,
Gabe

If you guys want a PC port, you probably should direct your concerns to Silicon Studio, who developed the game. Atlus and From Software are the publishers of the game, and I would assume are busy with other things.
Also, I get that some of you might not have PS3s, but if you really want the game, why not just get a PS3? Its Japanese developed library is a lot better than most people give it credit for, with a lot more exclusives than people realize, and the system is no longer very expensive. It's also a Japanese game, where the PS3 is greatly outselling the 360.
I don't know for sure, but I suspect that Sony might have funded part of the games development, (although I've only heard rumors to that effect) which is most likely why it is exclusive.
Its worth trying, but I don't see it any more likely to happen than Operation Darkness or Spectral Force 3 ending up on the PS3.
