Nintendo let some unwitting fool spill some beans, among those beans was Soul Hackers. It apparently has a Miiverse page.

Oh. My. GOD. IS THIS REAL. THEY MOST LIKELY WILL LOCALIZE SOUL HACKERS. SOMEONE MAKE A CHROME THEME AND SEND ME THE ACCESSORY KIT FOR ME TO PREPARE.

Apparently, the Soul Hacker forums might be available to the public on Dec. 20. Keep your fingers peeled and your eyes crossed!

Oh, and it's pretty embarrasing some people are calling SH a Metal Gear game, or some unknown game, or even some fake game Nintendo made up. Some people are just...

Well, 100% sure they WILL skip EP

( I know before anyone point out that it is a Nintendo system, etc, but, I doubt they will announce both EP and Soul Hackers in a month time frame ).

I think it would still be possible, honestly. If they already localized EP, they can do it again.

I think it would still be possible, honestly. If they already localized EP, they can do it again.

OT: At least now i'll have a reson to buy a 3DS now with Soul Hackers being all but certain to arrive in the NA, along with Awakening and SMT 4.

P4G may be finished with it's advertising soon, but right now Etrian Odyssey IV seems to be getting focused on. I would anticipate a timing sometime around when Etrian Odyssey IV stops getting focused on. Sometime in mid December.

Well, as cj_iwakura mentioned on NeoGAF, December 13th marks the 15th anniversary of Soul Hackers (it came out in 1997), so it would be a (very) nice day to announce it.

Though, to be honest, I'm still skeptical as to whether it will be localized or not, I sure hope it is, will definitely buy it and I don't even own a 3DS, lol.

Meanwhile, don't know if it has been posted but there's a small interview with the japanese voice actors on the japanese website, it looks interesting. Not sure if there's any translation of it somewhere, if I find it I will bring it here.

I have a feeling we'll get this game, but will be thoroughly disappointed if we don't because this is Atlus's final chance to bring it to N.America.

It will DEFINITELY be localized (or announced) sometime after the Wii U gets a release in Japan and Europe. And the real date is 11/13.

I think it's possibly going to be announced on the 10th or 20th of December. Since I heard that forums were supposed to be opening for the leaked games including Soul Hackers on one of those two dates. Still, all of us could be way off and it's not announced until late January. In general though, I wouldn't start worrying until around Feburary. If it's Feburary though and no localization has been announced, then everyone should get scared. As a poster previously said, I hope Atlus does not pass this chance to localize Soul Hackers. This is the last chance we have of getting it localized and playing it in English. It will be extremely disappointing news if Soul Hackers is not localized. I literally bought a 3DS in anticipation of Soul Hackers and Shin Megami Tensei IV being localized. I also want other games for the handheld as well, but Soul Hackers/SMT IV are my two main motivating factors. I've waited for years to play Soul Hackers in English.

Literally, I've been checking my email every single day this month in hopes that the Atlus newsletter will appear saying: Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers 3DS is being localized! I check the forums here too frequently for any news or updates about a localization being announced. My anticipation is at an all time high and I really hope that I don't end up disappointed. I'll gladly buy the game day 1 and would even go as far as to purchase a special edition if a localization was announced.

While I understand why everyone is trying so hard to get the PSP version of Eternal Punishment localized, I think this should be more important since this a game America never got. Maybe people think Soul Hackers is a guarantee because it's a 3DS game, but I wouldn't be so sure. I'm still worried this won't get localized, even with the mention of a possible leak.

There are a few games that Atlus USA announced at the same time. When Nocturne was in development and released it, they had the DDS trailer in it. They announced P4G a few weeks later when P4A was announced and I bet P4G wasn't hard to localize since they had most of the script already translated when they released P4. So I don't think it would be such a deal on announcing Soul Hackers and Eternal Punishment at the same time since Eternal Punishment would be in the same condition as in P4G.

And, please, PLEASE Atlus, dual audio or at least an voice acting as good as Digital Devil Saga. Couldn't stand most of the voices on Devil Survivor Over.
