Persona 3 Portable announced for PSP

Well I found some info about the MShe's social links from the Gekkoukan livejournal.

Magician: Junpei Iori (I don't hate Junpei, so I'm fine with this)
Chariot: Rio Iwasaki (I swear she looks like Yukiko's older sister)
Justice: ??? (Ken, most likely?)
Hermit: Saori Hasegawa (she's kinda... creepy)
Fortune: ??? (not sure on this one, a Jp. wiki said Ryoji, wait, WHAT.)
Strength: Koromaru (yay)
Star: Akihiko Sanada (meh, Bakahiko's alright)
Moon: ??? (take a guess, he was confirmed in not too long ago.)
Everything else is the same, but the Priestess, Lovers, Aeon, and Empress are slightly different obviously.

By the way, weapons are fixed. Female is Naginata (not spear), male is one-handed sword (not rapier). Both are Slash weapons

Man, fans of a certain character will be happy about this. All I can say is, I'm buying myself a PSP and hoping that Atlus can bring this port to the US. Don't fail now Atlus!

Sadly enough, no sexy time with Junpei. But I'm happy with Shinji and Akihiko, so yeah. But hopefully, increasing you charm, intelligence, and courage will be a little more easier cause I remember I had a hard time to increasing everything from my first playthroughs.

I'm not sure either but maybe it's a place where you can replay bosses but we have to wait for more info about that area. Also, I found this little tidbit from the livejournal, apparently you have 50 plume of dusks if you choose beginner mode. Isn't that cheating Atlus?

I don't know how to say this without just spoiling that part of the normal game.

Maybe he doesn't completely kick the bucket, but he's damn near dying and all those emotions that caused Persona evolutions are evoked in the suspense of waiting to know for sure if he dies or not.
I dunno, that's all I can think of.
(I don't know how necessary the spoiler tags were but whatever. I feel more comfortable with them there.)
I'm sure if they really remove the you-know-what part, they'll think of something and we'll all see in due time how they do it.
As long as they're willing to remove something that effective.

Some fans speculate that there maybe a scene in the hospital where it will trigger there resolutions. One fan say that since you maxed the moon social link, it maybe possible that he now has a reason to live rather than being dust in the wind(sorry, really bad humor). But to those who don't want him to live, his death will still remain if you don't max the link, so everyone wins. This is definately butterfly effect all the way. But yeah, I'm little suprised about 50 plume of dusks for beginners. You get ten in the ps2 version and now you get 50 of them in the psp. Since there's five difficulties, I wonder how hard is beginner since you get that much of plumes or maybe you also can get that huge amount in maniac?

I would do that to, if the MC can't have his bromance with Junpei. But hopefully the PSP version and his social link will give me a different opinion about him since I didn't like him as much in the PS2 game.

I guess I like the fact this is getting released. I never finished Persona 3, which is weird, it was my first SMT related game. I ended up playing through SMT1 after only getting to like August in P3. This will be sure to renew my interest. Hope this sells well (Along with P1PSP) so that maybe...just maybe they'll put P2IS/EP onto one disc and release it on the PSP so new players can experience the freakin' awesome story

So apparently Shinji does survive if you max his link but he's stuck in the hospital for the rest of the game, meaning he's still only temporarily playable.

Wait, I think he's still playable after that whole incident. I mean since Shinjiro's persona evolves to Hercules it wouldn't be fair to not see him use his newly evolved persona right? Also in my opinion, Shinjiro is a strong dude, he took like how many bullets during 10/4, so he'll probably recover in the hospital lickity split. Thing is, we have to wait till someone post up vids on Nico or Youtube to see what will happen and to prove everything.

Also, I found some of the MShe's music, it's awesome and riddled with sugary beats. The official website is updated and this time we get a glimpse of Margaret and the desert of doors. Shame that I can't read what Margaret is saying.

-Combat assists/bonuses are linked to the Fool arcana.

-Fusion spells are used via items, and you get an initial supply of the item when you have the two persona together in your inventory at the same time. So, you need to initially get them, but you can use the the fusion (albeit limited) even if you don't have both together. It costs gems to get more.

If it just sticks him in the hospital for the rest of the game, I'm not sure how much I want him to survive, but if the game comes over here I'll gladly save him.

The more time I spend looking into this game the more I wonder if it's even worth playing once (I mean if) it comes over. I mean, I'm spoiling everything in sight without even a second thought, and I played the rest already.

I also wonder what's in the minds of Atlus employees. How they're laughing at us right now or panicking that we know their secrets.

Yeah, 1 cast of Armageddon and lots of Infinity are absolutely required for a certain fight, so I'd hope this is -in addition- to carrying both personas in stock and casting it like it used to be, or else you'll find yourself wasting time and lots of money refusing some certain personas for no other reason than to collect these items.

Adding more social links for the male character would render getting Orpheus' ultimate form impossible. Its already tedious enough.

Damn, there goes that belief that MShe's fate is different. But it does fit with famitsu's review, the story hasn't changed only the social links. Still I was expecting some different ending for the female side, after all it is a butterfly effect, a parallel universe, and a place where I believe there is no cannon. Also, from what I read from gamefaqs, the only way to save Shinjiro is that you have to get a flag item from the officer. That's the only way to save him, allegedly... But also the desert of doors are the vision quest apparently and players can unlock monad.
