Ill probably get this for ps3 but I would rather them port it to the wiiu. I hope they consider bringing it to the wiiu

My first thought was that Altus was dictating the character designs since they were the guys with the money, however, if you go to the japanese site, you will still see the original designs for the sorceress and amazon, along with screenshots including the characters.

I don't have it on hand, but as I understand it the removal was a request for censorship by the ESRB. I think it was because there was no age gate for accessing the site that led to the ESRB's request.

Vanillaware has a history of characters with very wild proportions, but with an excellent sense of design. I don't see any justification for them to start changing the designs now.

I just want anything, any new information to allay my anxiety to know that the game is doing okay.

If your only interest in a game was getting a boner over some character art then I'm pretty sure you could find better titles anyway. MOST people (i.e. the one's who play games for, you know, gameplay?) will be just as interested as they were before. I just don't think I'll ever understand some of the subcultures that show up around here...

There are plenty of reasons to love a game, storyline, gameplay, or even campy, stupid but just the right kind of stupid to be funny, et cetera, et cetera.

Art direction can be a game breaker for some, ESPECIALLY if constantly being reminded while playing it isn't art, it's a corporate pile of greed for mass zombies to enjoy and therefore, a common doctrinal expletive.

I feel the same way however, about the whiners demanding taking this out or that, so I guess in a way, we do agree a bit here, maybe, just in reverse.

Back on topic, my main concern is the price point as, what I know had to be removed to allow it onto Japanese consoles is simply as far as it can go, I still love the art style, just like I loved Odin Sphere, but knowing something is going to erk me during my entire playthrough for the aforementioned reasons you were countering CAN in fact turn me happily far, far away in disgust.

Coming back, and re-reading what old O was responding to directly, I feel like a heel. I made an assumption it was about another poster as I was skimming through. Realizing it was about someone whining about the art removed from the site and not from the game, I retract that previous statement and apologize to good ol' O.
