Minato and Hamuko to appear in Arena?

Found this in the persona 5 facebook page it looks real so can someone confirm?

I have my hopes up since they announced Elizabeth (since her mission is to save the MC than her appeareance in arena isnt just for fun).

What's with the jagged edges, blurry font, and cheap backdrop? I mean, I'm pretty sure a video game studio like Arc System Works has access to Photoshop, and Photoshop selections do not make those jaggies unless you're doing some seriously wrong, and they probably would skip the selector and go right for the good old pen tool anyway. On top of that, the art style doesn't match what they've been using for Arena, the official Arena art is far more contrast heavy, with extensive use of blacks, even on light colors.

Nothing about this looks official at all to me. In fact, it offends my design senses, the thing isn't even balanced, it's left heavy.

That DEFINITELY looks like fanart. It's not even the same style as the rest of the artwork for the game.

Exactly. It's so obviously someone's photoshop it's not even funny. For all the reasons listed already. The style doesn't match, the layout is terrible, and most of all.. it doesn't look like anything from the game thus far. It is nothing like this:

Never gonna happen. Elizabeth with Thanatos and Narukami having a P3 alt are proof positive of that. (Also, that's so obviously fan art.)

I seriously want Dojima in the game, heh. Nanako can be a cheerleader, like in oldschool fighters, where you have that person in the background rooting for you. He doesn't need a Persona, anyway, he's rugged.

Why not? Fighting games are one of many video game genres where just because characters are dead doesn't mean they can't make non-canon cameo appearances as hidden or DLC characters.

If they do somehow add in P3 MC as DLC, I hope he gets Messiah and not Orpheus.

Totally fanart. I found that art in pixiv (a very pupular artist page in Japan... like Deviant ART) So yeah, it's fake.

I totally agree with this. If they showed the other P3 characters with their Ultimate Personas, they should put Minato with Messiah (his true Utlimate Persona), or they could do what they did to Yu: use Orpheus in battle and then for the Instant Kill move, use Messiah.

I would like that... it would show them very alike... sine both are the Fool.

I think it'd be better to simply have an Orpheus Telos color palette for the Persona 3 main character(s) since that's technically what it is. That way you can keep Messiah as the Persona used in his/her instant kill move.

Orpheus Telos was only in P3FES and in the next P3 releases, it's like a Custom Persona from P2. Persona 3 states that Messiah is his Ultimate Persona, but either way, it would be cool to add him in the game... I don't see the point of adding P3 characters in this sequel if they are not going to do anything about Minato.

PS: How the hell you spell Judgement? Is it ''Judgement'' or ''Judgment''?

They're both valid spellings. "Judgement" is more common, though.

Even if it is a horribly made fan art, I would have loved it if it were true. My first persona was P3... actually my first SMT altogether. Less than 3 months now. And I am now a total persona fan. Though I know little so far, I would have loved it had Minato gotten to be in this game. But hey, who knows... they said they'll make future DLC characters (maybe).

Then again in Guilty Gear another Arc systems work they have time travel to where Sol fights his past self in the story soo. I just don't want the MC's form P3 in the game.

We have Reach out to the Truth playing for Persona 4 character mirror fights, and Mass Destruction playing for Persona 3 character mirror fights. It'd be nice to have the Persona 3 female main character so we can add Wiping All Out added to this game's battle theme list.

Wiping All Out would be the female main character's theme, of course!

Oh, that would be awesome. I hope those extras would be inside the game (I'm not fond of DLC's). A remixed version of Unbreakable Tie... a remixed version of Deadline the boss battle theme of P1!

IF P3 MC DOES BECOME DLC, it would be best if P3MC can use his wild card ability instead. (Instant Kill = Armageddon also P3MC using Messiah with Enduring Soul and Reg. 3 and Invir. 3 TROLOLOL) That's the only reason why I want P3 MC to appear in such game...

They didn't give Yu his Wild Card ability, AFAIK, so why would they give it to Minato?

Besides, a Persona fighting game with Wild Cards is roughly equal to Arcana Heart...
