of course random stage would be default, but it's a nice option after character select, and puts more favorite stages to good use. If it's only random stage select, that will make some stages rarely if ever used online.

I can't see it not having the option. Most fighters allow stage select online. It's why you see most hardcore ladder players choosing the generic blank or grid backgrounds online to get rid of any distractions.

well MK9 didn't have online stage select.

KOFXIII didn't have online stage select (not sure if Atlus suggested to SNKP or SNKP just didn't listen.)

I think all Arc Systems fighting games so far have online stage select, so maybe they won't mess up and end up not including it for some silly reason.

The Blazblue team is the one behind it all, and assuming they make this one like the rest of their games, it'll have stage select. Most likely music select too.

You are absolutely right that those two don't. In my own defense though i did say most and not all. The ASW fighting games definitely do though.
