The Persona series of games borrows a lot of stuff from Jungian psychology. The concepts of personae and shadows are just two prime examples of this. The phallic symbol, however, belongs more to Freud than Jung. ^^ |

I agree with the Jungian one. Not that I could remember what the theory is about, but I remember doing lots of personality tests and there were times when I see the name Jungian around. So yes.
Don't worry. Mara ain't as bad as...DFC. No, I haven't seen the pictures, but the idea of it seems...skewed. And a few others in EncyclopediaDramatica. :cry: |

Jungian theory is about archetypes, the Self, and what not. If you notice, all the personae in P3 are based on legendary, mythological, or religious figures. The concept of the Self--wholeness--may be likened to the Universe Arcana that Igor emphasized at one point in the game. It's basically the whole "answer to life" thingy...
