Sigh EO 4 on 3DS(is there a version on the DS)?

Well so I'm looking on ebay for someone(to link them to EO3), and I see a Japanese EO 4, what a living nightmare. It's for that POS(one of the most failed systems of all time, and based on the worst aspect ever) 3DS.


Please tell me there is a reg DS version?

Unless it was originally made for the DS and then later ended up on the 3DS as a port.. i doubt you'll find it on or coming to the DS.

And why so much hate for the 3ds? I didn't think it sold THAT badly... though I don't own one.

Well that's what I'm trying to find out, if there is(people on these forums are good at locating info from Japan).


It's really bad, and the whole thing is based on a graphics aspect(literally the whole thing), which is the worst thing possible to base games/systems on.


Needless to say, if there is no DS version(or maybe a WiiU port in the future as long as Nintendo doesn't royally screw things up), I'll be forced to pass, buying a system for a single game, even one as awesome as EO, is nuts(I'll be hoping It's nowhere near the greatness of EO3).

The 3DS is a utter POS, with no redeeming qualities at all, ATLUS needs to stop pining over that failure of a handheld.

initial sales don't mean crap if people return them/sells them(after like just the first month, everyone realized how crappy the 3DS was, and sales started plummeting/continues to do so, that's how bad it is).

Atlus pines over the 3DS because the handheld market is a big market for their games. 3DS is that latest Nintendo handheld and continues to outsell the DS on a similar timeline nearly a year later. This in the face of iOS and Android, to boot.

Your "facts" seem to run contrary to actual facts.

It doesn't take a genius to put two and two together here. Atlus supports 3DS because its a successful piece of hardware.

ATLUS fans on these forums have been acting so dumb towards the DS, It's like alot of you turned into graphic whores or something.

Ever since the 3DS, a lot of the people around here act like the DS is the plague, even though It's the most popular/loved handheld of all time.

Just because something is new, doesn't mean it can/should take the place of the much better item.

The 3DS is a new school version of the VB for crying out loud, just with a better casing lol, and color.

Most of the excellent titles on 3DS are remakes. I know there's other games but I just don't think remakes should count. However, the 3DS is still pretty good.

/Thread; I doubt it'll happen. The 3DS is actually a pretty boss system. It's more than a graphics machine. If you out your pride off to the side, and try one out, you'll see. Pride is very hard to put off to the side, however.

Isn't that the case with pretty much everything OTHER than Nintendo's wares?

Anyway, what I hate most about the 3DS and makes the European 3DS entirely inadequate is the regionlock.

I want my 3DS to play 3DS games. If it doesn't, it's inadequate.

On top of that, it can probably be fixed with a little downloadable application in the eshop.

I just want to be able to import EOIV when it comes out in NA!
