Official "I Got" Thread for Innocent Sin
Got it this morning as I was on the way to the hospital with mom. Loving it so far, and I haven't even encountered my first battle yet. By the way, love the save anywhere feature Atlus.
Basically, thread for saying you got it and anything else you wanted to add with it.

I got my copy this morning after Gamestop had flat out told me it never came in. Luckily, a UPS truck came by with a ton of boxes while I was in the store and copies of Persona 2 were a part of this delivery. It was not a big deal, but if I pre-order a game, I would hope Gamestop would have it

Got mine at EB at Midnight. They did a Midnight launch for Gears 3. So they let me pick up Persona 2 during that

Got my copy a little under an hour ago. Haven't started playing it yet. Still playing Persona 1.
I noticed the packaging and booklet are unilingual. (lol at google chrome's 5th suggested correct spelling.)
Edit: Why do you guys use those circle stickers to seal up the games? I don't like those.

My friend and I were able to pick ours up at Gamestop during the midnight release for Gears of War 3. Though then I had to come home and clean, then I passed out for 12 hours, so I'm only now really getting a chance to play it...
I'm enjoying it so far though. I'm also amused by how Atlus renamed the two teachers in the Sevens lounge to have the puns make sense in English~

Got my copy after class this morning and immediately went home to play it. After about four hours of play, I really prefer Innocent Sins battle system.
Save anywhere option is awesome too. Kind of sucks that I can't save during a quest, but meh. Not a big deal.

I rode my bike 3 miles to work, worked from 9-4:30, then rode another 3 miles to the closest gamestop.
I asked if they had it and they said "yes we ha-wait did you preorder it?"
naturally I did, and paid it in full, and bought it, and rode another 3 miles to school, and yet another 3 miles back home, just got back, and debating on whether to open it yet or not...

Lucky for you guys, mine is in transit and will probably take a couple weeks to arrive, since I'm overseas.
Can't wait to play it, really.

Now, if only Ghostlight would announce a release date + preorders.
I was crazy enough to import P3P, but I'll have to pass on this one until the EU release.

I got mine from amazon. They packaged it so tightly that the side of the box got bent and creased.

Got mine Tuesday after work. I've played some, but I haven't been able to go full bore into it yet. Never played IS, but I did play through part of EP and the game feels like an old friend...
My biggest complaint right now is that the random encounters seem a bit too frequent. I checked out the theater, but then noticed that the two "films" available right off the bat appear to have encounters that are somewhat high (levels 30 and 70) for my group...
Eeep!

It wouldn't let me save in the school when I tried to do so. I had to wait until I was out on the city map.

I've been able to save everywhere with one minor exception at the very beginning of the game.

Although I picked it up on release day on the way to class, I...still haven't opened it and gotten started yet. I keep forgetting to charge my PSP and I've got a truckload of reading that needs my attention first.
But I'm not in a rush, honestly. I've played the game before, so while I'm eager to see how the translation has been handled and the new quests, it's not like I have to worry about getting spoiled before I hit the end.

Got it on release date right after work but I have still yet to play it, but then I don't think I'll get around to it for a while. Already played it so it is not like I'm in any rush either, it just feels nice to have a physical copy. On a side note, I'm still trying to finish EP which I have been playing for way over a year now.

Got it on release day at night when I was visiting my friend who worked at GameStop. Opened it in the store and started playing some of it, which tempted my friend to get it as well. Reserved Fate/EXTRA while I was there too.

Yeah, the sticker that sealed my limited edition copy of Dead Space 2 ripped the shiny foil on the box.
But at least for Persona 2 the sticker didn't damage the package at all, at least if you cut it open with a box cutter first.

Yeah, I've been able to save in "dungeons" (dungeons in this case including things like schools... ) since then. It's just that for some reason it wouldn't let me save inside Seven Sisters. I'm kind of puzzled why that would be.
Edit - Definitely confirmed the save thing as location based. I tried to save in one of the rooms in the bomb shelter, and was unable to do so. I opened the door and stepped outside and had no trouble saving.
Oddly enough, if I were going to make a game and disqualify certain locations as unavailable for saves, I think I would have done it the other way around considering that the former is essentially a "safe" location while the latter is not.

got the game yesterday. i am already at the final dungeon (i played the jpn version so it help...).
i've notice something with the psp version that make the game easy...(not sure it was possible on the ps1). when you set up your attack , you can press cancel to re-enter everyone command. so before your last guy act, you press cancel and put everyone to 'guard' (even if it's not their turn it'll work). when the last ennemie is attacking you,you press cancel and you re-enter everyone command (or else they'll skip their turn and stay on guard).

I got it on Tuesday
Though you'd think getting packages in the collective unconsciousness would take longer than that XD;

You could save in the janitor's room on the first floor at the beginning of the game. The same thing also apply for EP at the very beginning of the game.

Just got it today and in perfect condition thank goodness I'll start playing it later after finishing Kirby Mass Attack which is insanely fun especially the minigames.

Just finished the game. Absolutely floored at how well the game ties up its more insane storyline threads by the end, and makes me hungry for the second half. The villain was so well-done I'm almost disappointed that the newer games in the series didn't bring him back (well, 3 had a great villain too...4, less so...), maybe we'll get lucky and see a return in P5. In the end, the storyline is equal to the modern games easily, but I can't rate it as high since there were a few spots so aggravating that I may not replay it for a long time (Mt. Katatsumiri's forest maze still gets me enraged just thinking about it). Hopefully the game did well enough for EP-PSP to become a possibility.

Be happy, Atlus, I got two copies. One digital download and one hard copy I'll keep for collection's sake (and if PSN ever shuts down, I lose my data, and other "catastrophes"). I'm pretty pleased with this, 'cuz its interface tweaks are pretty much everything I wanted while playing the original PSX version.
Oh, I also decided to give the protagonist a new name, even though he comes factory-loaded with one. I gave him the name Mukajiri Anderu (向後安出), the kanji of which I chose to loosely reflect that he goes between worlds, at some point.
Oh, and his nickname is "Andrew." I's so clever.
