Bring it to local gaming gatherings. Get people interested in this game, lure them away from MvC3 and SF4. Get a scene started.

I am gonna try to hype this game as much as I can with my small local scene. Mostly MvC/SF4/BB players, but I'm slowly getting a few into KOF.

A good tip is while people promote KOFXIII, don't bash other fighting games,
doing so will only cause friction and make it more difficult for people to try something different than what they're used to. if they see promoters/fans just as flexible and respectful of other fighting games, people might be more open to give it a chance.

Also people without local scene can still get their XBL/PSN friends interested.

Even if you dislike Capcom fighters, you have to avoid bashing them(at least in a "This is why KOF rocks & SF sucks!!" sort of snobby way). Try to only bring up Street Fighter when discussing shared gameplay mechanics and the like if it helps.

I'm doing what I can only to hype and convince people to give this a try.

Lets just say the chemist has been spreadin the love already. I already have folks enjoying certain previews ive put them on to and they are extra hype to get this game more so than UMVC3 next month. My crowd of folks are from the good ol KOF94 era when it all started. Yeh i played street fighter 2 to death and still play it this very day but i always had a respect for the KOF series or just SNK period. They have always been very innovative. The first company to ever come up with super desperation grown @ss man @ss whippin supers i used to call em lol. Ive always found it more tough to play KOF but i still loved it. It always felt like i got a big win at the arcades when i beat a good player in KOF. SF was just a walk in the park since i played that sh*t everyday after school at the time if it wasnt basketball.

so with that said only real hardcore fighting gamers will respect this awesome comeback in november. Kof 13's presence will be felt best believe that!

Oh yes...totally promoting this game. Promoting it already. ABXY Fight League out of Tuscaloosa is fairly hyped about this game. I'm bringing it to every gathering. It's all i'll be playing. Down here we'll be repping it. :]

i think ill talk crap to some of my other friends and get them thirst to play the game and start some mini tournaments lol. i kinda did that same thing with SSF4 and it was pretty fun.

Im not as win hungry as i used to be in my teens but its still halarious to see everyone so serious and focused trying to out do each other and have the longest win streak. This game promotes that intensity i see already from matches on youtube and what i saw at ChinaTownFair arcade at the time. Technical @ss whippins!!

Oh yes...I've recently been bringing CvSNK2 to our weekly gatherings and it's been getting alot of attention and this one dude uses Terry. Specifically power dunk[it's like his trademark lol] so we've already become rivals in XIII. Too bad Terry's w/o his power dunk in XIII.

Ex-Capcom fan here. So can I bash it?

Cashcom is capable of making good fighters but when they keep releasing new ones constantly to get our money, forget it.

I'd sooner get KOFXIII before another Capcom game cause it'd offer me a unique fighter. So long as it has good gameplay and balanced characters.

I prefer this concept of 3vs3 cause it's not based heavily on assists. As long as you're solid with those 3 characters, you're not restricted by your team choice it seems.

Very likely the next fighter I get will be this one.

I totally agree SNK games need more of a scene, since most other series has there scenes SNK has it the least compared to other series.
