Street Fighter IV was made thinked initially to be "online" mode, the arcade version needs 2 taito type connected in LAN mode for play against player 2, the game slowness do the illusion of lagless.

MVC3 was patched too because bad netcode.

If SNKP only test netcode in Asia will be the same s**t

Green and Blue, IT'S very rare in Brazil!!

... Last I checked we are in 2012, there are millions of list that contains such info and even you can access them with the help of google..
You are talking like such trivial thing didn't happen before..

Oh and I think the patch will be under the catalog "too little, too late" I think everyone has passed to another game and kof13 is pretty much dead, way to go SNK\ATLUS!

You have right in 50%. Maybe too late or not, but i wont change the game. I had been waiting for 2 years for this game. If we wont get netcode patch, anything i could do getting the 300 online match ,100 win trophies and finish with online play...

Just done playing.....played with 2 of my friends with 3 freakin bars and the lag was HORRIBLE!!!!!......Atlus you better hurry up with that patch....you promised a decent online experience when the game was announced

Maybe is because they are using wireless, in my experience I had played some people in yellow connection better than some in green connection.

Ya know, i was really done caring, and done checking for the fixes to this game... Until i checked the PSN store. So i click "add-ons", and there i find an unlock DLC for the colors... Which it states can also be unlocked in the game... You know, if it WORKED!!!

I mean, games launch with netcode issues, and some bugs. I get that... Been around long enough to know this.

But why would someone at SNK/Atlus give the green light to put that paid DLC on the store, before fixing the broken color edit?

What's next? Are you gonna sell better netcode before offering us the patch?

I typically dont rant at companies over this stuff, and im typically VERY forgiving. But it's like SNK wants to go bankrupt. It's like this company is trying to lose fans.

Yeah and I thought Capcom was greedy when they were selling those AWFUL colors for 3rd Strike Online, now SNK comes up with this??.....wow....and yes even if you unlock the colors by playing they get locked again because of a weird bug that resets the character use to 0 :/

To be fair, I don't think the color unlock was released as a reaction to the color unlocking bug - chances are it was planned from the beginning (they released another piece of DLC that unlocks Billy and Saiki for you instantly).

You know, you don't have to buy the color/unlocking Billy/Shion DLCs... (never heard of that bug resetting your character before, though :O how can you avoid it?)

And I actually think I'd rather have a working patch for online gaming instead of a rushed patch that still makes people unhappy or whatever. But yeah, it has been a while now and I wish I had friends here that also play KoF without online in my living room so that I could enjoy vs games at a constant stable quality and not in a "well, sometimes you are lucky and have a good match and sometimes..." game is still godly and most good KoFs (and KoFXIII certainly is one of the best!) have long legs when it comes to "keeping the community playing the game". Well, at least those who don't jump from game to game immediately as soon as a new shiny one released. But I wouldn't believe SNK fans would not play KoFXIII anymore then...

That's player matches.. Try RANKED and tell me you don't get connected to people in canada.. australia.. mexico.. brazil.. You have NO control in ranked.. You have to play laggy players or quit the entire game.

Ontop of the matchmaking.. the netcode needs to be fixed.

I really love this game and the entire kof series, this patch will decide if i buy a ps3/xbox and the game or not.
I really hope the online gameplay will be great across europe.

I was playing in blue bar today against someone from London but I noticed that my ping used to be 58 and it went down to 21 O_O.

is there a way to permanently reduce ping?

Atlus any news on the patch at all? thanks

In the end the patch won't improve anything at all, And the game is already dead!
This was your very last chance.
We do we have to tolerate with this bull#### when most companies has done better like 4-5 years ago?? Capcom for example.

I am now over on 100 hours, and yesterday i got the 100 wins finally. ( Im not bad, i think i am medium, but in the most of cases i met with red bar connection, connectiom lost) I need to do the 300 online match. Luckily i dont have to fight in the matches because it is impossible! I am lucky because i have a friend in the neiighbour who also like this ####! Net code patch wwhere are you? I have already taken my part: 2 copies of KOFXIII in preorder, and also have all of the DLCs. I think SNKp this is your turn now! Bring the magic or something!

Ignorant people don't get it yet, YOUR PING IS IN RELATION TO EACH PLAYER, YOU DO NOT HAVE A CONSTANT PING, PING is the quantity of time the connection takes to reach the other person, and it varies depending on distance and number of jumps.

Finally! I have the 300 matches. It was a pain in the ass! I have 60 matches, but from 60 was 38 lost connection before the match. Every match was red level1. :S:S This game drives me crazy! I had lost connection with level3green. I have no met yet green connection before this time, but no succes. Connection lost.. :S:S
