3 little online requests
I understand you must be working all hours to get the online patch ready for us as soon as. in the mean time i would like to suggest a couple of bits for the online mode :
1) Flags for the Ranking Mode / Player Mode
2) The host can create a room where the maximun of players is 6
3) World Tournament Mode. where you can set a torunament between players across the world, a bit like dragon Ball Ultimate Tenkaichi. Ive got the game and it works really well and its very entertaining too!

I agree with this topic. 6 players and not necessarily spectator mode. (but it's highly wanted.)
Or just make it like MK9: join a room and then challenge anyone in that room. (or even just chat with them.)
It's so boring challenging same person over and over and over again.. KoFXII was laggy but it was better when it comes to this case.

There's no point in anything empathizing "world" anything since the delay based netcode prevents people from around the world to play each other with less than 4, 5 delay frames which isn't acceptable for tournament standards.

Until the netcode patch arrives, I doubt ATLUS USA will be adding any new modes. In fact, I don't think ATLUS USA will be adding modes which don't exist in Japan.

you are right unbelievable most fighting games today come with all that and I still can't believe that KOF XII can have more fun whit friends online seriously if I have to pay for this kind of patch improvement believe me I'm willing to pay up to $14.99 as long as they make it better but come on atlus prove it to us first the KOF FANS

I'd even be happy with 4 player lobbies. Seeing as everything it running beautifully now thanks to the patch, now is the time to make new feature requests. Lobbies and spectating from the lobbies is what I want. UMvC3 has a clever way to minimize potential lag from spectating and allow it. One user relays the spectator data to the rest so only three people are involved in the actual match.

All i want is a rematch option after you finish a match rather than going back to the lobby and selecting characters again.

now that we have patch I dont see why not adding a world tour mode. Ive got the dragonball version and it is very playable and enjoyable . makes the whole online experience more excitable!

will it be possible to add as well the "winning team shot" screen?. Ive been playing god knows how many times now but the online mode feels very "empty" . Atm feels to me like:
found challenger
won fight
waiting for next challenger
its too straight foward and plain. the online mode needs "life" injected into it.
SNKP , ATLUS and RS should ask the fans what we would like to see in the online mode in a poll or in an official tread so people can get involve.

I have few suggestions for future updates / releases:
1) Add a "re-select same team" option after each match
2) Playing practice mode while waiting for others to join was cool. See if you can add more modes in the future, especially Mission Mode. I believe saving the progress in the middle of an online session might be technically tricky, but it would be neat if it could be done.
3) Online 2 players practice mode, where two players can just do whatever they want with full power stocks ... etc for like 90 seconds per session. Would come in handy for players with various levels to teach and get taught how to play, share combos, test tricks ... etc.

furthermore missing:
-1vs1 online mode, including number of rounds (3 or 5), time, and handicap
-practice mode with unlimited(!) HD mode time
-sharing of a team, so each player can take over at least one team member (like in those cool real life KOF tournaments, or SFvsTekken it seems)
-also sharing the team with a buddy who is sitting with you in front of the monitor (like Gears of War 3, where you could go play with a buddy who is physically sitting besides you and playing against other dudes online via splitscreen)
first two points could be implemented easily for online mode.

the kof xiii menu's are so weak, i suggest they complex them a little bit, like in player match to have best of 3 option or 5 or first to 5/10, u know the pro way, i don't know if u realize , it's not just me annonymous talkin, kof xiii is the best fighting game since kof 98, so if u realized that don't forget to check the calander , it's 2012 u .... in 2012 the netcode bad? omfg u just ruinned the perfect game, hope u realized that too
