This unknown time is the "Dark Hour."
Unfamiliar stillness swallows the city,
people turn into eerie coffins,
and otherworldly monsters called Shadows swarm.
One night, the protagonist is attacked by these Shadows.
When all hope seems lost, the power of the heart,
their Persona, is awakened.
A second year student who transfers to Gekkoukan High School upon returning to the city where he lived ten years ago. He lost his parents in an accident when he was young.
During the day, you will attend classes as a regular student as well as partake in various club activities after class at Gekkoukan High School. When the Dark Hour strikes, you will explore Tartarus and fight Shadows as a member of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, also known as SEES.
You will attend school during the day and take classes, participate in club activities, as well as experience other events like school field trips. Build invaluable relationships with your friends and enjoy high school life to the fullest--the school year won't last forever.
The Dark Hour is the time hidden between one day and the next, where monstrous Shadows roam about and the mysterious tower, Tartarus, appears. The city comes to a standstill, and people are transformed into coffin-like forms.
During the Dark Hour, Gekkoukan High School transforms into a looming tower known as Tartarus, which is home to countless Shadows.
You will battle against Shadows in the form of turn-based combat, with tactical options such as weapon attacks and Persona skills. When you strike at an enemy 's weakness, they will be knocked down and a 1 MORE is activated, which allows you to attack again. Make sure to exploit these weaknesses in order to gain full advantage in battle!
Knocking down all the enemies will open up an opportunity for an All-Out Attack! This will allow you to deal heavy amounts of damage to all the enemies, so make sure you gauge all your options to see if an All-Out Attack is feasible!
