As a basic rule, streaming and gameplay of the full release of Metaphor: ReFantazio will be allowed only when the game is officially available in your region, except for those with prior consent. After regional release on October 11, all scenes may be streamed.
- You can stream gameplay video on the following:
- Blogs, websites, and SNS for personal and non-commercial use
- Video sharing websites
- To allow as many people as possible to enjoy the game, we ask that you include a spoiler warning on content that contains spoilers. Spoilers where people are unable to avoid viewing such as in thumbnails, video title names, etc. are not allowed.
- We strongly prohibit videos and livestreaming of the game prior to launch for footage outside of the Prologue Demo.

- Please refrain from posting content that does not contain any new elements such as your commentary, including posts that consist only of the animations, cutscenes, trailers, or a collection of these elements connected together. Please also refrain from posting only music data such as BGM, or using music for the primary purpose of listening to music.
- Secondary use of gameplay videos (e.g. posting “highlight clip videos”) on social networking sites is permitted if the content does not violate our guidelines.
- Please refrain from requiring compensation to watch recorded/livestreamed content, as this is considered for commercial purposes. However, if secondary income is generated as part of the online service through uploading/livestreaming a video (e.g. Youtube Partner Program), that is not considered for commercial purposes and is permitted.
- Please do not slander any third-party users or organizations during any videos or livestreams.
- Please do not engage in any illegal or illicit activities, or activities that may be considered inappropriate for the public, during any videos or livestreams, including:
- Any acts that interfere with the normal operation of our products or services or compromises their safety.
- Tools and services that allow for cheats, cracking, improper access and modification, as well as circumvention of restrictions placed on the backend.
- For any reason, if we request you to do so, please immediately make any content in question unavailable for public viewing.
- We may also delete or stop distribution of videos or broadcasts that we deem inappropriate. Please note that we may not be able to respond to inquiries regarding the reasoning.
- The company does not guarantee that posting or recording a video/livestream does not infringe upon the copyright of any third-party individuals or organization. Any legal disputes that occur because of videos or livestreams involving our content must be handled directly between the uploader and the third-party individual or organization. The company will not financially compensate anyone for any losses incurred as part of any such dispute.
